Today, I am thankful for TRADITIONS!
My husband and I were just discussing this last night. We both love everything about Thanksgiving and the following weekend. Each year is the same:
Wednesday: Returning to our high school as alums for the annual Thanksgiving football game, followed by kicking back and spending time with friends
Thursday: More high school football followed by dinner with his family, decorating gingerbread houses, and falling asleep on the couch
Friday: Some early morning Black Friday shopping (though, we refuse to shop on Thanksgiving), decorating the house for Christmas, and binge-watching some new TV show on DVD or something on Netflix.
Saturday: Leftovers, more shopping, more binge-watching
Sunday: SLEEP!
What are some traditions that you and your family partake in?
Check back for the rest of my posts this week!
Special memories!!

Married for 2 years, but following much of this pattern for the past 8! I wouldn't have it any other way :)
DeleteI agree with you about traditions! My family has the BEST Christmas tradition and I hope that my generation will be able to continue it for years to come!

There's something so wonderful about the consistency of it all. I can't wait to share it with our future children and nieces/nephews! Happy Thanksgiving!
